Terms of Service

Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of StyleBound.gg ("StyleBound," "we," "us," or "our"), a community platform for World of Warcraft players to share and discover transmog outfits and related content. By accessing or using StyleBound, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

1. Prohibited content

You may not upload, post, or otherwise make available any content that:

• Is pornographic, sexually explicit, or otherwise not safe for work (NSFW), including sexualized depictions of minors in any form.
• Constitutes child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or exploits minors. We have zero tolerance. Violations will be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to appropriate law enforcement authorities, in addition to immediate account termination and content removal.
• Harasses, threatens, or bullies others; promotes hate or violence against people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics; or incites others to do so.
• Violates Blizzard Entertainment's intellectual property policies or terms applicable to World of Warcraft content, including unauthorized commercial use of Blizzard assets where such use is not permitted, or content that misrepresents your relationship with Blizzard or the game.
• Violates any applicable law or infringes someone else's intellectual property or other rights.

We may remove any content and take any action we deem appropriate for violations, in addition to what we describe under User conduct below.

2. User conduct and accounts

You are responsible for your account and for all activity under it. You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You may not misuse the site, attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts, or use automated means to scrape or abuse the service in ways that harm the community or our infrastructure.

We may suspend or permanently ban accounts, remove content, or restrict access to StyleBound at our sole discretion if we believe you have violated these Terms, our community standards, or applicable law—whether or not a violation is listed above. We are not obligated to provide a warning before taking action.

3. Content ownership and license to StyleBound

You keep ownership of the screenshots, text, and other original content you submit ("Your Content"). World of Warcraft and related assets are owned by Blizzard Entertainment; your license to us covers only what you can lawfully grant (for example, your screenshots and your own descriptions).

By submitting Your Content, you grant StyleBound a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and otherwise use Your Content solely to operate, promote, and improve the platform—for example, showing your outfits in the gallery, thumbnails, search results, and reasonable marketing of the service. You may revoke this license for future use by removing Your Content from the site where the product allows it; we may retain copies as required by law or for a limited time in backups.

4. Content removal requests

If you believe content on StyleBound should be removed—including content you posted and no longer want displayed, or content that concerns you for another legitimate reason—contact us through our feedback form. Include enough detail for us to find the content (for example, a link to the page or your username and approximate date). We will review requests in good faith and respond as practicable, but we are not required to remove content in every case.

5. Copyright and DMCA

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe material on StyleBound infringes your copyright, send a notice that complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), including: identification of the work, identification of the material to be removed and its location on the site, your contact information, a good faith statement, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act for the copyright owner.

Designated DMCA contact: submit notices through our feedback form. Start your message with "DMCA" and include the information required above (identification of the work, location of the material, your contact details, and the required statements). We do not operate a public @stylebound.gg mailbox yet; this form is the supported channel for formal notices.

6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

StyleBound is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, StyleBound and its operators, affiliates, and contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the site or inability to use it, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the site is limited to the greater of (a) fifty U.S. dollars (USD $50) or (b) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, if any.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum permitted by law.

7. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of StyleBound after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the site.
